Orders

When will my order ship?

Our current turnaround time is 7-10 business days.

Do you offer priority or rush shipping?

I do not offer rush shipping at this time.

Can you combine my shipping if I place multiple orders?

Yes! Include a note at checkout with previous order numbers and request combined shipping. Alternatively, email me athello@aphroditebookclub.comas soon as possible with your order numbers. If your orders have already shipped, they can’t be combined, so please be prompt with requests for combined shipping. If your orders are able to be combined, I will refund any excess shipping charges. 

I accidentally entered the wrong address for my order. What do I do?

Please email me at hello@aphroditebookclub.comas soon as possible with your order numbers and the correct shipping address. If the order has not shipped, I can change the address. 
If the order has shipped, I am not responsible for missing orders sent to incorrect or undeliverable addresses provided by the buyer and no refunds will be issued.  
If the order is returned to me in good condition, you may purchase additional shipping and have your order reshipped, or you may receive a refund minus the cost of shipping and a 10% restocking fee. 

Can I include a gift message or a note with my order?

Yes! Please make sure to include the note during checkout and it will be printed on the packing slip.

Do you offer cancellations, returns, or exchanges?

All sales are final and I do not offer cancellations, returns, or exchanges. This applies to preorders and backordered items as well. Please read each listing carefully before purchasing. If there is a problem with your order, please email me at hello@aphroditebookclub.com as soon as possible with your concern so I can assist you.

Shipping & Delivery

My tracking number says my package was delivered but it wasn’t. What do I do?

Please start by checking your tracking number. If the package has been marked as delivered, contact your post office ASAP to see if they have information on your package. Check with roommates, neighbors, and/or apartment management to see if your package was mixed up or picked up by them.

I am an international customer and my tracking number has stopped updating. Is my package lost?

Different countries handle the tracking numbers differently, and it can vary on a package by package basis. Most of the time, the tracking number for standard shipping will stop updating once the package has left the US (final scan will say “International Distribution Center”) or is received by your country’s post system, because it is the prerogative of the destination’s postal system whether or not to enter the tracking number into their system. However, your package is fully insured and it is most likely in transit.
If your package does not arrive after 8 weeks of the ship date, please send an email to hello@aphroditebookclub.com with your order number and I will assist you. Do not wait more than 115 days from the shipping date to contact me. Past this timeframe, orders are ineligible for insurance claim refunds.  
*****Due to COVID-19, international orders are experiencing delays that are beyond my control. Please allow a minimum of eight weeks from the ship date have passed before requesting assistance on undelivered orders.*****

I am an international customer and my tracking number is stuck with the status “pre-shipment” or “label created.” Is my order lost?

It’s probably just fine and on its way! This is likely a glitch with USPS. Please visit www.goglobalpost.com/track and input your tracking number for up-to-date tracking info. 

Will you mark international orders with a lower value to avoid customs and/or taxes?

No, this is illegal. Buyers are responsible for all taxes and fees associated with their orders. 
Orders returned due to unpaid taxes/fees will receive a refund minus the cost of shipping and a 10% restocking fee.

When is the next restock?

I'm working hard to release new and exciting designs every month, but as with all handmade items, it takes time. Once the date and time for the next restock are set, you'll find the notification on my Home page. Alternatively, be sure to sign up for the newsletter to stay informed about new restocks.

What size book cover should I buy?

Please measure the height (spine) of your book to ensure the best fit.
LARGE- fits books between 8.5" - 9.5"
MEDIUM- fits books between 7.75" - 8.35"
SMALL- fits books between 6.75" - 7.5"
Our covers fit best on books between 300 and 950+ pages.

How do I use my book cover?

  • Slide the front cover of your book into the pocket of the fabric dust jacket.
  • Wrap the jacket snugly around your book and tuck it over the back cover.
  • Use the elastic strap to secure it in place (it adjusts to fit your book’s thickness).
  • Keep your spot with the built-in ribbon bookmark.
  • Enjoy your read!

How do I clean my book sleeve / book cover?

  • To clean, hand wash in cold water, or use a gentle machine cycle (place your cover in garment bag beforehand),
  • Lay flat to dry,
  • To remove any wrinkles, iron or steam on a cotton setting,
  • Do not iron ribbons or elastic.

Do book covers work on paperback books?

Yes! You can use our covers on both hardbacks and paperback books. For paperbacks just insert few more pages from the front and the back for added sturdiness!

Can I request a fabric change?

Yes! If you see fabric in my shop that you like, but want it as a different product, don’t hesitate to contact me. I’ll be happy to create it for you if I have enough of it left.

Can I request a custom size book sleeve or cover?

Unfortunately due to the busy schedule I am not able to take custom sizing orders at this time.
